Things Not to do While Traveling in Incredible India


Venturing to India has its own advantages and disadvantages which could make you worry in the middle of nowhere
and it can also make you happy and sufficient. If you are traveling to India, here are the 5 things that should not be done inorder to travel good and return with some everlasting memories.
Don’t over plan: Don’t try to over plan, make your plan limited to an extent inorder to relish the earthy and pleasing beauty of Incredible India. If you are venturing to India during peak seasons, consider to book through travel agents or otherwise travel with your own to fit to the culture of India.

Don’t Irritate the Locals: Taking photographs of locals without their permission is not respecting their cultures in some place, in Ladakh the monks get annoyed if you take their photographs.
Don’t Advent the Normal way: Inorder to advent to the real India, don’t make a list of things that you want to explore. India has lot to offer beyond every tourist expectations, so make sure to travel with higher expectations and lesser list of things to do and visit.
Familiarize: You may hurt the sentiments and customs especially of the villagers, so make sure not to hurt their feelings by familiarizing with the local customs and tradition.
Don’t be a Disorganized/Messy: Don’t take the beautiful mountains and beaches or anywhere else as your own vacation spot by littering them, those are meant to hurt the sentiments of locals and the authorities taking care of it. India is a polluted country, but don’t make yourself a part of the pollution, instead try to put every single thing that you use in the dustbin or some right place.
Don’t take it in Person: As, India ranks second in terms of population, it may be very crowded, polluted and sometimes you have to be a part of the traffic jams and strikes, don’t take it personally. There are many things that one will learn after traveling to this beautiful historical country.
Traveling: Don’t always travel in the peak seasons; you can also travel in normal seasons. Infact, you will come across the best traveling experience in off season compared to that of tourist season.
Don’t stay for 2-3 days in the Same Place: If you are on a lengthy vacation, try not to spend more than 2-3 days in the same place, instead you can visit to other better place during that time.
Don’t take the culture and traditions of Indian otherwise, they are good but can be annoyed at times.
Tips While Venturing in India:
Ø  Drink mineral water only, as tap water is not potable in cities, but in hill stations you can drink them as it can be pure than the bottled water.
Ø  Floods and landslides can occur at times, so avoid traveling long distance during rainy season.
Ø  Don’t start your trek at the first day, make yourself comfortable, study about the place of trekking and start your trek on the next day inorder to overcome altitude sickness especially in the regions of Jammu and Kashmir.
Ø  Carry a mosquito and insect repellent/cream.
Ø  Eat where the locals eat and the same thing that they prefer.
Ø  Stay veggie or go luxurious hotels.
Ø  Don’t point your feet at some people.
Ø    Be happy and travel happy.
